Brokik in Claude and ChatGPT

Add Brokik in Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your flats, tenants and rent payments in a conversation. It works with an owner account on an active Brokik plan, at no extra cost in Brokik.

What you can ask

  • “Who hasn't paid October's rent?” The app checks the payments in Brokik and answers in the chat. It changes nothing.
  • “Add an electricity reading of 14,382 kWh for the flat on Station Road, dated today.” The app saves the reading in Brokik straight away, with no approval step.
  • “Message the tenant on Mill Lane that the gas inspection is on 20 October.” The app drafts the message and gives you a link to Brokik. The tenant gets it only after you approve it there.

How to add Brokik in Claude

You can add Brokik on claude.ai and in the Claude desktop app, on the Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, the organisation's owner adds the connector once, in Organization settings, then Connectors. Then each member connects it.

  1. Open connectors

In Claude, choose Customize, then Connectors.

  2. Add a custom connector

Click + Add, choose Add custom connector, name it Brokik and paste https://mcp.brokik.com/mcp.

  3. Sign in to Brokik

Claude opens a Brokik page. Sign in as you always do.

  4. Allow access

Check the account and set the access: Read and change, or Read only. Then choose Allow access. You return to Claude, and Brokik is in your connectors list.

Claude Code in a terminal

Paste this command into your terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code and sign in to Brokik in your browser.

How to add Brokik in ChatGPT

You add Brokik in ChatGPT on the web. OpenAI says reading and changes work on the Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, and reading only on Pro. On Business, a workspace admin or owner adds Brokik; on Enterprise and Edu, anyone the admin allows. On any other plan, check in ChatGPT whether you can add a custom MCP server.

  1. Open plugins

On the web, go to chatgpt.com/plugins.

  2. Add the Brokik server

Click the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server. Name it Brokik, paste https://mcp.brokik.com/mcp as the server URL and choose OAuth for sign-in. Confirm the warning, then choose Create as a plugin.

  3. Install it and allow access

Install the Brokik plugin. When ChatGPT opens a Brokik page, sign in as you always do, check the account and the access, then choose Allow access.

  4. Use Brokik in a chat

In a chat, type @ and choose Brokik. Before ChatGPT changes anything in Brokik, it asks you to confirm in the chat.

What you approve in Brokik

Before the AI app sends anything to a tenant or does anything that can't be undone, it gives you a link to Brokik. There you see the exact content, such as the whole message to the tenant, and approve or reject it. You'll also find the request in Brokik's notifications.

  • Reads: properties, tenants, rent and payments, meters, costs, settlements, issues and the list of documents (not the files).
  • Saves without approval in Brokik: meter readings, costs, rent payments, issue statuses and property details. The activity history shows the app's name next to them.
  • Only after you approve it in Brokik: messages and invitations to tenants, notice or end of a tenancy, sending an agreement for signing, invoices, deleting data, bank account changes. A request waits 24 hours.
  • No access to: your plan and payments, password, e-mail address, account deletion or data export.

If you choose Read only when you connect, the app changes nothing in Brokik.

Which tenant data the app gets

The AI app gets the data you ask about, including tenants' names, addresses and amounts. Brokik removes PESEL numbers, ID card and passport numbers and dates of birth, and shows only the last 4 digits of a bank account number. It always does so in the fields for this data, and in written text, such as the wording of an agreement, whenever it recognises such an entry, so an entry written in an unusual form may get through. The app doesn't get document files: it sees their names and a link that opens the document in Brokik. The data the app retrieves from Brokik is processed by its provider under your agreement with them; details are in the Privacy Policy, under “Connected AI apps”.

How to disconnect an AI app

In Brokik, go to My account, AI assistant tab, and choose Disconnect next to the app in the Connected AI apps section. The app loses access at once, and its requests waiting for approval are cancelled. Changing your Brokik password disconnects all apps at once.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Brokik adds nothing to your plan: the connection works within an active Brokik plan and uses none of Brokik's AI credits. You pay for the AI app to its provider, under your Claude or ChatGPT plan. If your Brokik plan expires, the app can only read your data, and changes work again once the plan is paid.

How is this different from the AI assistant in Brokik?

The AI assistant is built into Brokik: you open it in Brokik and it answers from the AI credits your paid plan includes. Claude or ChatGPT is your own AI app that you pay its provider for, and connecting it to Brokik uses no AI credits.

Can I connect several accounts or several apps?

Yes. One connection covers one Brokik account, so you connect another account separately. You connect each AI app separately too, and you see every connection in Brokik in the Connected AI apps section.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps use to connect to services such as Brokik. Brokik is an MCP server at https://mcp.brokik.com/mcp, so you can also connect it to another AI app that lets you add an MCP server by address and sign-in.
