What Brokik is

Brokik is a web application for long-term residential renting. An owner or a rental manager runs a tenancy in it from the agreement and the handover protocol, through meter readings and utility settlement, to the deposit settlement. The tenant gets an invitation and uses a free account. Brokik works in 25 countries and 17 languages.

Why we built Brokik

We built Brokik because an owner of one or a few flats had no tool made for them. Large management companies used extensive systems, while the owner was left with a spreadsheet, a lease template from the internet or a paid manager. We wanted to give them professional tools in a form anyone can use. That is why Brokik has been built from the start for people who rent out privately and for their tenants: it has what everyday renting needs, without features for corporations.

Who makes Brokik

Brokik is built and run by WebET Sp. z o.o., based in Opole, Poland. The president of the management board is Andrzej Jantos. The full company details, including the registration and tax numbers, are on the “Company details” page in the footer.

Security and your data

Brokik runs on servers in the European Union, and the connection between your device and the app is encrypted. Passwords are stored only as a hash, so nobody on our team can read them. On an owner or manager account you can download a copy of your data as a ZIP file: tables of properties, tenants, settlements and meter readings, plus the files of agreements, protocols and photos. You can delete your account in the Profile tab. The privacy policy describes which data we process, who we entrust it to and what rights you have.

E-signature and payments

E-signature is part of Brokik: an agreement or protocol is signed with a one-time code sent by email, with no extra software or third-party signing service. Payments for your plan run through Stripe: you enter your payment details with Stripe, not on our servers.

Blog, generators and contact

On the blog we write about the rules and practice of renting: agreements, deposits, utility settlement and rental tax. You can fill in a rental agreement and a handover protocol in the generator without an account, and the PDF arrives by e-mail. Send questions about the app to contact@brokik.com.
